2026 DONATIONS

Thank you to all the car enthusiasts who attend any Cool Cruisers events.

The entrance fees are what make these donations possible.

10/02/26 Cool Cruisers Day of Action

Cool Cruisers volunteered for the  United Way Day of Action at the Adams Wildlife Sanctuary helping the Springfield Audubon Society. We helped maintain and cleanup the area. The crew knocked it out. Our donation of time totaled $1,890.00. Thank you for being part of our community and for helping make a difference.

09/05/26 Hooligan Havoc, Pittsfield, IL

From our President John Carpenter - I can't say enough about how great the Cool Cruisers are. About 18 cars rolled down to the Hooligans C.C. Illinois in Pittsfield car show. They are a top notch club that puts in a lot of work to put these events on. This day was no different then usual, they were raising money for a child with birth defects. I have been going to their car shows for 5 years and they are always helping children with needs. Proud to say Cool Cruisers played a small part in helping raise over $5k towards their donations. So thank you, Hooligans, for all you do; your club is definitely a class act.

08/29/26 Knights of Columbus

So proud of every member in the Cool Cruisers. Car Club. We had 125 cars there that night. You have made it possible for the club to make donations like this and many more to the community. We donated 633 cans (508.46). Plus all of the cans our members brought to donate! All of this goes towards the KofC halls food drive that helps The Holy Family Food Pantry.

From the Forever Home Feline Ranch -
🐾 Help Us Keep the Ranch Cool, Warm & Safe! 🐾
Forever Home Feline Ranch in Springfield, Illinois, needs our community’s help!
As a nonprofit cat rescue and sanctuary, Forever Home Feline Ranch (FHFR) provides a safe, loving environment for cats who are waiting for their forever homes—as well as sanctuary for cats who may call the Ranch home for the rest of their lives.
Right now, we are facing an unexpected and significant expense: approximately $8,000 in air-conditioning and heating repairs.
❤️ Our Goal: $8,000
Reliable heating and air conditioning isn't simply about comfort at the Ranch—it is essential to the health, safety, and well-being of the cats in our care.
During the hot Illinois summer months, a functioning air-conditioning system is critical. And before we know it, colder temperatures will return, making dependable heat just as important.
An unexpected $8,000 repair is a major expense for a nonprofit organization that depends on donations and community support. Every dollar spent on this repair is money that would otherwise help provide food, litter, veterinary care, medications, supplies, and other necessities for our cats.
🐱 Imagine What We Can Accomplish Together
If 80 people donate $100, we reach our goal.
If 160 people donate $50, we reach our goal.
If 320 people donate $25, we reach our goal.
And if you can only give $5 or $10—that matters too!
No donation is too small. Every single gift gets us closer to keeping our cats comfortable and safe.
💕 Can You Help?
We are asking our friends, supporters, adopters, volunteers, local businesses, and fellow animal lovers to rally around the Ranch.
If you're able to make a monetary donation toward our $8,000 HVAC repair, we would be incredibly grateful.

Please designate your donation “HVAC Repair” whenever possible so we know you are contributing toward this specific need.
🐾 Can't Donate? You Can Still Help!
We understand that not everyone is in a position to make a monetary contribution. Sharing this fundraiser is also a gift.
Share our plea with your friends, family, coworkers, local businesses, and fellow animal lovers. One share could reach the person who helps us meet our goal.
❤️ They Depend on Us. We Depend on You.
Forever Home Feline Ranch has always believed that every cat deserves safety, compassion, dignity, and a place to call home.
Today, we're asking our community to help us continue providing that home.
Our goal is $8,000.
Whether you give $5, $25, $50, $100, or more, you become part of keeping the Ranch safe and comfortable for the cats who depend on us every single day.

07/22/26 R.E.D. Remember Everyone Deployed

We made a $1052.00 donation to R.E.D. (Remember Everyone Deployed). When all was said and done another $248 was donated for a total of $1300.00. The 501(c)3 organization was created to show solidarity and provide support to our deployed service members as well as veterans. They send care packages to our troops who are deployed. Serving all branches of the Armed Forces and their families. Your donations will help send care packages to our troops who are deployed.

From our President John Carpenter - I always like looking at the pics and reflecting back on what the Cool Cruisers was able to do for the community. What you see in the pic is just a handful of cruisers making a donation to R.E.D. What you don't see is the hundreds of members who come out to the events and make these donations possible. What you don't see is the hours and the work that board members put into organizing these events and the setting up and tearing down. The crews amazing. What you don't see is our wonderful sponsors who help take care of day to day operations allowing us to donate 100% of the events proceeds. And what you don't see is all the friendships made at these events. So thank you everyone and hope to see you all soon. Rant over 💘

07/08/26 Springfield Center for Independent Living (SCIL)

Cool Cruisers making a $1000.00 donation to Springfield Center for Independent Living. Thank you to everyone who attends our events and make these donations possible.

Accepting the check for SCIL is Pete Roberts (Executive Director) and Kathryn Eisenhart (Board President)

A Center for Independent Living (CIL) is a consumer-controlled, community-based, cross-disability, nonresidential, private, nonprofit agency designed and operated within a local community by individuals with disabilities and that provides an array of independent living services. They are designed to empower people with disabilities to take control of their own lives and fully participate in society.

05/27/26 Carter Logue family

On behalf of the Cool Cruisers I want to thank everyone who participated in The Carter Logue benefits success. Setting here reflecting back on it and the fact we really only had 24hrs to put it together was amazing. I want to thank the cool cruiser staff and volunteers for all the hard work they put into it. There wasn't one of us who wasn't exhausted at the end so thank you Sindy Hiskey Landreth Jerry Landreth Jim Gatlin Frances Gatlin Derek Roberts Melissa Kramer Roberts Michael Roberts Stephaine Lyn Deb Pellegrini Ralph Billings Tom Kris Tapocik Greg Cooper Julie Sherren for the outstanding job you did making it a success. I want to give a shout out to Julie Sherren for helping get donations together at the last minute. Also thanks to Matt Oglesby for the NAPA donations and O'Reillys and all the members who donated items for the silent auction. It was a huge success. Also, thanks to everyone who donated household merchandise & clothes, there was over a truckload. Thank you all. But at the end of the day, we couldn't have done it without your participation. You were the ones who came out and donated what you could for the cause, so thank each and everyone of you. You are the one who makes it happen. When we presented the check to Carter & Renetta is was for around $8500. Then Eric Halberg. came up and donated $1k, and Bruce Vorhees showed up with a donation. And BJ Taylor & Amy won the 50/50 and donated it back it ended up being over $9600. The $233 50/50 donation was not included in the $9600 donation; it was a gift, and we still have donations coming to our mailbox, so it will be well over $10 k. Outstanding and unbelievable. Some people think we are just a bunch of folks who get together with our cars and just hang out and mingle. Last night shows we are much more than that. When one of us in the car community needs help we rally together to help. We know that if we need help, somebody is there for us. Hopefully, if we lifted a small burden off their shoulders, we all know it felt right, and we had to do it. Last night showed the true character of the cruisers and car community. Thank you all, and God Bless.

05/06/26 AgeLinc

Cool Cruisers donated $1000 to Area Agency on Aging for Lincolnland (AgeLinc). Accepting the check was Carolyn Austin, CEO.  Click on their logo below if you want to see what they do for the community. Thanks to the club members that came out on this cool evening at Motorheads.

04/20/26 Animal Protective League

Cool Cruisers has went to the dogs. Friends of Sangamon County Animal Control reached out and needed dog treats to use to train dogs. It's easier for them to adopt out a dog that's been trained. Thanks to the club members and the folks who attend our events, we were able to donate 30 lbs of treats. That's over 800 treats. There should be some well trained four legged friends. 😆.

02/03/26 Friends of Sanagamon County Animal Control

P.S.A. Talked to Friends of Sangamon County today about the 15 dogs they rescued from an unscrupulous dogfighter to see how they were doing. They informed me they could use some hot dogs to put their meds in. Cool Cruisers to the rescue. We picked up 100 hot dogs and delivered them.
